DotEmu is not a good porting company and people should stop giving them work. Only reason I even bought this is in hopes of SNK releasing KOF XIV and other classics and hopefully give them enough revenue to actually hire a good porting company like QLOC or someone else.
I'll be surprised if they actually fix this game completely since most of their other titles are basically neglected.
Don't link don't even respond to me. You're like some kind of weird apologist and don't want any of your insight on this.
My specs are: intel i5 2.0ghz dual-core, nVidia 860gtx, 8gb ram, Windows 8.1. While it doesnt make much sense, t's not uncommon for lesser hardware to perform better than newer and more optimal hardware but we have seen this with games like Just Cause 3 and Batman Arkham Knight which scream blatanrly "Less is more". Anyways, I hope they do more patches because it seems like alot are experiencing the problems but I hope it doesn't affect my performance because I love my ancient OS.
Come to think of it, if we conducted a widespread experiment and labeled 60fps as 57fps, did you know everyone would be naive to believe it was? I think that speaks for itself.
I understand what you are saying. But at least in fighting and racing games I can tell the difference.
I bought and installed - then promptly uninstalled. It was an instant refund for me. I own the MVS and was just wanting an update. I experienced random frame jumping and audio lag, in comparison to the real deal this is not good at all.
Like I said, no problems with USFIV, Guilty Gear, or previous KOF installments on Steam, just this. A shame because the interface design doesn't look bad. If they fix it, I'll re-purchase, but I'd recommend to anyone else that they stay away until it's fixed. Right now it's a very un-optimal experience of Garou.
Oh and I ran this on multiple devices. The lightest specced of which was a Quad Core i73770K with a GTX970 and 32GB RAM. So it's not a hardware issue. This is a terribly optimised port.
you have never played a fighting game seriously otherwise you would realize how bad your statement is. ill break it down for you, it will effect the visual elements of your timing in the game on what you press and what you see. Please stop saying "the human eye" because you clearly have never played a fighting game, and never played on a pc that plays past 60 fps.
The arguement is more at combo timing I think

Edit: Also that's pretty much every fighting game on Steam after a couple months unless we're talking Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat and Blazblue. Just saying lol
