Still unable to Launch!
Still unable to launch WU.

Nothing Happens. I have tried various fixes that I have found throughout the Forums, none of which have worked. When setting Debug=1 I get the message "Failed to load jvm.dll"

I have since reinstalled java at least 20 times verifying that it is working correclty each time.

I have set the path to java countless times moving my java install to different directories and different versions.

I am at a total loss as to what to do next. any suggestions? 6 days and 16 hrs in.

I can't get it to launch either. I've tried various fixes found in the forums, but nothing works. I just get "Failure to launch game. (unknown error)"

same here, I am supposed to be connecting with a DEV tonight via teamviwer. I will let you know what happens.

I got the same error, the steam popup is only redirecting me to a page where I tried all possible solutions, including un- and re-install Java and even the game itself, turned off my firewall etc. and deleted the steamapps folder and what not. Still getting the same error.
But what I found out so far is: if I try to run the wurmlauncher.exe from the folder it says, it is not a valid win 32 application. (No, there are no viruses or anything, everything else is just running fine). So wurm Unlimited is only for 64 bit systems? It didn't say anything about not running on 32 bit systems?

I fixed the problem on my end with the help from a DEV (Warlander) who gave me an idea and I ran with it

If you want to know pay me $50....Im just kidding! =D I can explain the issue to you but it would be easier to connect via teamviewer! If you are interested in my help PM and we can set up a session.

You must be kidding for sure. I am not going to give you (some unknown random guy on steam) remote access to my computer in any way, not even over teamviewer or whatever program!
If you have a possible solution please just write it down so we can check and hopefully be able to play WU finally.
If you're not wanting to let us know the possible fix, I will just sit here and wait for Warlander himself or the other devs to solve this riddle. ;)

thats what you get for trying to be a nice guy ay? teamviewer is safe way to connect. all you have to do is disconnect if you think im up to something fishy. besides that you have nothing that i would want trust me.

I kinda feel like not giving you any help now since you are obvisouly a D### but here is a link....look for my post. ofcourse this link could be a link to some unknown vius i want to unleash on you
