3rd person zooming

So I was messing with the settings the other day, and I figured out how to enable the game's 3rd person mode - which from what I understand is still sort of in beta.

It seems to work fine, but it's more of an annoying over-the-shoulder view than an actual 3rd person. Are there any settings you can fiddle with to have the camera zoomed out a bit, and/or have your character more in the center of the screen? Adjusting the FOV apparently doesn't affect it.

I'm afraid not, its just an on/off option, no others atm.
