Activate the wand and right-click the ground. Go under Specials > Set teleport marker
This will open a window where you will see two boxes at the top for coordinates, and some drop-downs in the lower half with online players and villages. You can either choose from the drop-down, or enter the X/Y location in the box at the top.
A note about X/Y in Wurm: There are two position types: Tile and Actual. Teleportation uses Tile. So the middle part of a 2048 map (the default size) would be 1023/1023.
Actual position is a larger number usually, and seems to be four times the amount due to it's percision. This is only really used in the database itself, so in-game always stick to tile position.
Once you have the coords set, right-click the ground again and go under Special > Teleport
If it fails, make sure you don't have several wands on you. Sometimes it's hard to determine which wand it's pulling teleport data from.
Behind the scenes, you're setting the Data1 and Data2 of your wand to a location, so if you're using a wand for something that also uses Data1 and Data2 (such as Paint Terrain) - be aware that you'll change those values. Also be aware that if you find yourself constantly teleporting to the same place and you have more than one wand, it's likely pulling the teleport coordinates from the wrong wand. Destroy it and try again with a single wand in your inventory.
I cannot seem to get change kingdom to work with the wand.
I am trying to change my characters faction in adventure mode.
Was going to just delete and recreate the char but it doesnt seem to ever let me reselect my faction.
thanks a bunch for any help
I tried this but get "FLIGHT is not a supported action". Must it be enabled somewhere?
EDIT: nvm, needed to type bind [KEY] "flight", with the ""
How are you trying to change kingdom?
You need a GM to do it, and the player has to be online from what I can see. Otherwise you can change it in the database.
Shut down your server, and use Sqlite Browser to open up wurmplayers.db in your Server/sqlite folder.
Select the PLAYERS table and find your player's name. Scroll to the side until you see Kingdom.

Write changes and relaunch.
Ya I had one char that has GM powers and was trying to change his kingdom.
I ended up getting the end result I wanted but had to uninstall the server and reinstall :)
Thank you for the help and will use that for future reference.
