HOWEVER, if you don't like the output of Unity in games like 7 days to die then I doubt you will like the graphics in this game.
more importantly just look at screenshots and decide
I don't think so
you haven't seen the latelest screenshot clearly. its light years away from minecraft graphics.
and yes its done in Unity oh and so is the New Rust
If you need cutting edge graphics to give your TITANs something to do I would look elsewhere though you won't find it here, the graphic fidelity falls somewhere between Quake II and Halo 1.
this...
Although Fishing Planet isn't exactly a premium AAA title what isn't noticeable is that it was built on Unity. It looks like it was made on that other engine

All the amateur developers who blindly develop using unreal engine or cryengine games run fine..
When i open a game and see that primitive looking graphic setting box "Fantasic.. Beautiful.. Good..Fast.. Fastest" i just know im in for a janky mess of a game with ps2 quality sharp visuals
basically CryEngine (which by the way had to be bought by Star Citizen to keep from going under) is an over-rated hype machine.
