Psycho NPC brutalized me

So this crazy npc called thunk showed up in my mines i just didnt mind him...then he brutally murdered me to death lol im so lost?

It sounds like you're playing on an adventure server. In adventure mode there are different kingdom which as hostile to each other. You will be attacked by guards and npc's if you get spotted while in their kingdom. Occasionally an NPC might wander from their kingdom and find you, and again will attack you if the spot you.

I've had a few pay me a visit, mainly Grandwood and Gothia. When they get too close my spirit templars kindly escort them off my property, usually in a body bag. I have had some nice loot from them tho, so far I've found a 87 quality large axe, 73 quality large maul and full sets of 70ish quality leather and chain armours.

The thing is i am jenn-kellen and thunk too so it was a bug or something

It sounds like it might be a rare bug with certain NPC's that was never tracked down.

I'm in a different kingdom to those so they attack me normally.

Thanks for that link. I thought it was just me.
And it's not just players of the same kingdom. I've had NPCs kill a guide, a trader and tower guards for no apparent reason. It took a lot of playing around and some manual database editing to make them "safe."
