Mechanics Questions
/edit

Since I celebrate the ideal of a world without censorship I have opted to keep the original post available while changing the Topic Title to something more approprate for the direction discussion at hand. Originally this thread was titled "Wiki Problems...".

/end edit

Since I can't post on even the discussions page of the wurm wiki because of some admin banning the entire IPv6 range of 2601:* I would like to ask a question: It's about decay - on wurmpedia it says that container decay reduction in inventory is a "myth" - could I ask for some confirmation to this? In particular I'm wondering if the GM Spawned Picnic Basket benefits players who are able to pick it up and keep it with them?

you need an account to post on the wiki, if you have questions about mechanics here or the forum is the place for that though.

Picnic baskets and tin lunch boxes are the only containers that reduce food decay and are very new, coming in at the end of last year., they will reduce decay on food items.

Beyond being craftable by normal players are there any other differences in the picnic basket and lunch tin? - I can't imagine the one that's GM spawnable wouldn't be superior (just because it's a GM item)

Also just for future reference - can you maybe compile a list of GM-spawn only items for items like the Julbord, Picnic Basket, and Bag of keeping - things that normally players can't obtain without GM Aid?

picnic basket was the 2016 Wurm Online christmas gift, it has a slightly higher decay protection than the lunch tin.

Both the picnic basket AND the lunchbox provide reduced decay ticks in inventory. They are the only containers to do so. (adding that code was a pain in the butt)
