Iggy´s crashing at the tar falls

Hello, i´ve recently started to play iggy´s egg adventure, and i love it. However, EVERY time i reach the spinosaurus at the tar falls, the game shuts down after i hit the spino once. So i have no chance to finish the level and therefor not the game. Ginger Labs does unfortunately not respond to my mails at all. I have a very powerful mac so the computer itself is not the problem.
Anyone had a similar experience? What can i do? I want to complete the entire game so bad...
