Game crashes on start up

I just got the game and each time i try to to start up the game it shows me a black screen and then crashes. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Just bought the game too and it doesn't launch for me either. All I did was click play to launch and it just black screens with the command prompt popping up. Tried uninstalling, verifying, deleting the user data folder and nothing is working.

Same, i just bought it on sale for 5€. I can play all Sim-games, but this one is crashing on start up. Ill make a refund. If a game starts like that, i dont even need to play it.

In my case, I was able to fix the issue by deleting the files in following folder:

C:\Program Files\Logi\wheel_sdk\9_0_0

Maybe this works for anyone else.

I just uninstalled ghub, that didn't work but then i thought maybe i should delete the userdata folder one more time and see if that works. Launched the game took a bit to load, but it worked! Hope this helps anyone with the same issue.

Hi,

after few investigations, i confirm the problem come from this SDK
I reinstall GHUB, and delete this folder and RF2 work's fine now

Thanks for your tips

edit: I don't have logitech wheel for info, so i can delete this folder.. But if you have a logitech wheel, maybe it's better to install a older version of GHUB (version before 2025)
don't forget to clean folders after uninstall.
