Default cockpit view
Hi,
Would it be possible to save the tweaked driving view while in game?
I like using the cockpit view but the default position and tilt of the camera is not good for me, so before every session I have to move the camera and tilt it to my perferred position.
This is very annoying and should be addressed. I would like to see this for every car so you could actually change the default view of every car independently and save it.

Right now I'm using the free move camera but even that cannot be locked to place. Everytime I move the mouse, my view moves as well.

This is a big issue and I hope you guys can do something about it.

Thanks
Tomi

It should save the location of the seat after moving it. It does on the non-Steam version.

You have to assign some buttons for that in control setting, you can adjust the seat up and down, backward and forward, you can also assign button for set fov in game, also you can adjust the mirror with shift+ adjust seat button and the pitch with shift+ fov button
remember to assign a button for this functionality
can't remember now if these are under the driving , misc or view tab, but it's not hard to find.

Assign move seat commands to some keys, then do the same with vertical FOV + and -. When you start driving adjust accordingly.

You obviously did not undestand my point. I have seat up/down/front/back assigned to my keyboard, also just like quasimano said, the mirrors are adjustable with the shift key. And I know how to adjust the FOV.

How many of you have tried the F12015 V2?
I would like to see you trying to fix the default cockpit view with seat corrections(i know, I've tried). The default cockpit view is pretty close to the TV-view. And since you can only adjust the seat + - 100(which equals to something like 10cm) that is not nearly enough. Even if I lower the seat to the lowest possible position(-100), the steering wheel is pretty much out of the screen and the mirrors are block with the info huds.

What I'm asking for is to be able to save the view after you've played around with the free move.

Come on people...

I have tried it on the F1 2015 V2 Mod. See my video here: https://youtu.be/PAWKKB8BlJw

It's a problem with a poor arcade mod, not the game itself. You can also try with assigning button for adjusting seat pitch (shift + increase FOV button).

Thanks metalhead, that might do the trick!
And as you can see from the above video, the default"cockpit view" is pretty far from what it should be...

This plugin isn't needed anymore, since pitch up/down keybindings were added.

So does the pitch up/down keybindings save the view position for each car that you adjusted manually ?
