Can't enter video settings

When I go to settings in the Launcher screen and then hit video settings a slit flicker occurs but nothing happenes.
I think a should get a screen where a can change HDR; FXAA; video resolution and some other things

Can you launch it directly from your installation files, eg E:\Steam Library\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\Bin32 ? rf config.exe is in that folder, try it.

Tried it, and it does not work it says fault 0xc000007b the rFactor.exe file in the Bin32 folder gives the same fault. But I am running the rFactor.exe from the Bin64 folder and there is no config.exe in this folder.

That error is an indication your PC has not been kept up to date well. Go into the support folder and run the runtimes in there as administrator.

If that does not help this issue, then you want to update .Net, Video Drivers, Directx etc.

I have the latest video drivers, reinstalled Net, Directx and Runtime files but still fault 0xc000007b occurs and I have no config.exe available

Are you trying to load it from the launcher or config.exe?

If it is not something obvious, contact support and they will put you in the right direction.

You're looking for config.INI, not .exe. It's in ...\common\rFactor 2\UserData\Config.ini.

Tried it from the launcher and nothing happens, when I start config.exe in the BIN32 folder on my harddrive then the fault occurs

Ok, thats why nothing happens when going via launcher.
I'm sure I could struggle through with you to find a solution, but you'd be better served by contacting support directly.

First thing i'd do is look in event viewer for error logs and google the codes/symptoms.

I found the solution. For another program I missed d3dx9_43.dll so I did some googling and found the program "DLL-files Fixer". I ran the program and that solved my problem with the other program and also solved my problem to enter video settings in Rfactor 2
