Is this it for rF2?
I purchased LMU only to find out it is rF2 DLC in another jacket. So i refunded. Is this it for rF2? I guess the whole dev team is working hard on LMU

I'm very disappointed by The Creators of the games, they first sell rF2 in 2013 and when I bought it I fell in love. rF2 has been the Main racing game that i have played. now that LMU is out basically everyone abandoned rF2. I can't afford LMU and even if i did, i would not purchase it as it is basically rF2, but horrible. Even though Le Mans looks cool and the track details alone looks amazing VIA me watching LMU vids, the AI is dumber than Forza Motorsport 7's AI(not being offensive but its true that the AI on FM7 is disgustingly horrible) the only thing that LMU is good for is the track details. What the Game Devs should do is, after finishing with the updates until a big update comes, they should work on rF2 and change it up(which this suggestion might take entire decades to be finished) and then once they are done then they can get back to LMU and also, they should make time frames like:ok so this week we work on LMU and then next week we work on rF2. Stuff like that. It might just be us that's playing rF2. Unless it is just me because i cant find any online sessions. I would love to see people playing rF2 and opening online sessions, just for old times. R.I.P rF2

rF2 was a promising construction site, and is now an abandoned grave.

I still play nearly every day that I can! I was only doing LMU for a while but always have to come back to where it started!

I don't care about any of this other then the fact there is literally little to NO Multiplayer racing going on.

I check into the daily races from time to time and fine nothing, then go race ACC for now since there are participants racing there everyday all day long.

What else can be said really. I tried to make this work but it doesn't. I tried LFM they they dropped it from LFM.
I tried daily racing for a while and was good while people were there but then turned into a complete dud with little to no participants except occasionally.

I'll check in and glance a daily races for a while just to see if anyone there, but they don't even have the cars I want to race on daily schedule anyhow.
AND even rFactor 2 doesn't have any rating system built for people hosting their own server to enable that part of things either. Just deficient all around.

If they get up the Race Control system where you can register for both LMU and rF2 and launch the race directly from there it will increase the numbers. The online numbers were good until LMU started, there were a lot of us racing every day.

Most advanced yes but when it comes to being maintained its crap with a capital C.

LMU doesn't feel as good to drive as rf2 does, something not quite right with it.

rf2 is death .

Despite the lack of enthusiasm for rF2 in this interview, rF2 has higher peak daily numbers than LMU right now on Steam so I surely hope it continues to get some love (until rFactor 3 is maybe someday released).

I have a feeling AC2 is going to steal a lot of hype from the sim racing space once it nears release, so it may be best to continue to support your dedicated fans (like further developing the online career and race system with knowledge you gain from LMU) rather than abandon your prized IP.

Who knows, maybe you end up gaining some players along the way. In the video, the CEO equated it to "ripping off an arm" but I think that is an extremely ignorant thing to say when referring to improving online features using a sim that shares the same DNA.
