Find the Launcher config located here: Steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\UserData
Open the config with Notepad and edit so that: Disable Workshop Auto-Subscribe:True
See if that helps.

Maybe try to log off from the Steam app
then connect to Steam via a browser
and select your susbscribed items in rF2 workshop here :
https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/browse/?appid=365960

What I did for this, I will goto STEAM workshop by simply clicking UNSUBSCRIBE button in item, with non-workshop item, you can goto PACKAGE folder to delete the files (tracks or cars).

Hopes this can help you.

Start the rF2 Launcher and then select the Content tab (cardboard box icon).
Select a non Workshop item and you are given two choices, Uninstall, Delete.
If you select Uninstall it uninstalls from the game but the .rfcmp file is left in the Packages folder and will still show in the Launcher's Content list but will have options to Install or Delete.
Delete will delete the .rfcmp file from the Packages folder.
It makes it easy to keep the game "trim" by not having a lot of mods installed slowing down loading times and possibly causing conflicts but if you need the mod you don't have to redownload it, just a quick install via the Launcher.

Does anyone know what effect of "unsubscribe from all" is to the paid content? Obviously I would like to keep updates for paid content.
