Working properly yet?
Hi. Deleted this game some time ago as it never loaded properly......Has this game been fixed yet???

No. Crashed when I tried to load with new UI. And it was counting Steam playing hours until the next computer restart next morning. So I did not get refund as I apparantly played the game for 14 hours :-) LOL

I had a read through your previous posts.

The problem that you had, where rFactor2 keeps bringing up the STEAM error message about +path +workshopsync, was actually a STEAM problem.

It was either a steam database issue, where by going to the top right of this screen, clicking on your name, and logging out, restart your pc, and logging in again with your name and password.

You are running Anti Virus like AVAST, and it's blocking steam from launching. I don't use AVAST, so can't help you on that one.

It is an absolute embarassment. This game is so f**** up and gets worse with every release. Not only is setting up the controllers a complete nightmare. With the recent update it killed all my car content for whatever reason. And a basic USB like the Ascher Wheel is not recognized at all.
It is a tragedy: the few times it actually runs without problems, it would be the best sim racing experience. Like this they better do a full re-work of the whole title.

Oh and I forgot to mention the user interface - what are these developers smoking? Do they actually try/test this game by themselves?? There are so many fundamental UX issues, it simply cannot be ignored!!

For gamepads config files are probably the best because steering rate is not in UI yet.

Ya, the new UI is a real embarrassment, I was kicked from there forums by saying what i thought about the new UI. If you think about that, since that S937 bought the game from ISI, the only good think they have done was the dx11 graphics update, that compared to other games is not good, and VR support, VR is not bad, but not good compared to AMS2.. It is real a shame because when it works, driving in rfactor2 is the best feeling you can have in a SIM.

Lmfao playing a sim racing game with a controller.
You can control the game by wheel, gamepad or keyboard. Nothing is wrong. You don't a wheel to play a game on your coach.

Been a LONG time user of this title as I bought it on release all those years ago. But I had it throw in the towel. Randomly started getting crashes to desktop without any kind of error message. Lots of potential here, but they really need to bring this game into the 20th century. There's too many sim titles on the market that don't have this level of "quirks" and their tire model just isn't good enough for me to overlook all the other issues. I uninstalled it and I'll forget about until I hear major news of this title being completely overhauled.

Yeah, I've never wrote it before, I guess :D Wheel is just another way how to control games. It's not like if you don't have money you have KB, if you live in a small shelter, you have a gamepad and if you have a big house in Hollywood, you have a wheel.

rf2 is probably the best driving experience on a gamepad... like on a wheel. It's the same.

That’s awesome to be honest! I remember my first start into sims I played NR2003 on my laptop with my keyboard and didn’t think anything would be able to translate as well as that did between all three styles. I just started rocking the G923 over the past year from a TM150
