BUT! Get it set up right and it looks amazing, drives better than any other sim on the market and...the cars. The cars are absolutely stunning. Pull the trigger man!
Full Version has had a lot of updates, visually very different, and a handful of physics tweaks.
Overall, if your a casual racer, wants to turn up and just race, it wont be your cup of tea. If you like to tinker around with setups, learn about camber caster etc, you will like it.

Average graphics (and that's being kind) but nothing comes close to driving a Ferrari GTE on Nords, it's mind blowing.
The biggest problem with RF2 is the antiquated U.I (the beta one ain't much better) and the ridiculously long loading times.
Add to that the fact that it doesn't separate official from modded content and you have one big mess.
If you can get past these problems the driving experience is second to none, only ACC comes close :)
The next best interior for me is the Aston Martin. Everything else tends to look somewhat cartoony in my book. They have shown its possible to look great and they have the material shaders to do it.. but alas.. they seemingly can't be bothered.
Maybe part of the Ferrari license was that they had to actually try and make it look good.
Thanks again to you guys advise etc
Only after buying DLC did I realise what kind of game it really was. Now I have almost all the content and I like this game.
I occasionally have a short go with PC3, but I always return to rF2.
