Is this a recent occurrence or have you just installed rF2 or just got the wheel?
I remember my wheel didn't work at all in rF2 until I calibrated it in Windows (Control Panel | Game Controllers), and after I'd done that it was fin in rF2 (strangely, other games worked okay without having to do this, but not rF2).
Ah, but unfortunately it is, as I mentioned above!
GPL - no problem
N2003 - no problem
Project Cars 2 - no problem
Assetto Corsa - no problem
AMS - no problem
rF2 - only works after windows calibration of wheel axes!
My wheel is not new to me but yes i have just installed rF2
yelling at the screen doesn't help, (much)
once I got it working properly it was all worth it
so don't give up, and good luck,(your going to need it)
They don't write instructions because they have nothing better to do.
Some have reported this setting can change on its own when Steam client updates.
