Still, the FFB deliver a little but mostly grip, the wheel locked feels more like too much grip (or no grip at all at some cases) as mentioned above by someone you quoted:
Check, I kind of locked wheels here and there but it did not have such impact because I reacted in time, but I used wrong racing line and long breaking points at many turns:

In this case, rF2 delivers a great grip FFB but weight transfer and wheel lock are not that good (also bumps, but road bumps and deformations you feel better with a heavier FFB, a lot better and that is what I use, a strong FFB to feel as much as possible, but wheel becomes even heavier) .
Dont know if that is the case but, if your pedals have reaction to breaks, you could try to find some mod for FFB to deliver that.
There may be some around.
rFactor 2 deliver great grip and good track details, but weak weigh transfer and somehow it delivers wheel lock too.
