Can't Join Multiplayer Servers? Bad File Descriptor?

Anyone else getting this error. Couple friends of mine getting it as well. When trying to join a server, it seems like its about to download a mod then it gives up this error message and stops.

yes! they got us by the balls i cant joing online not even 1 server or what ever

Try to subscribe on "ISI Content" at workshop.
As i can understand, it will add all official content, so now i'm able join to some servers.
It seems that autodownload feature don't work well.

Ok got a fix, go to your rf2 folder (in Steam>steamapps>common>rFactor 2) and delete all the files with the name package. there are like 12 of them. then make an empty folder and name it Packages. This fix worked for 3 of my friends and myself. Hope it works for all of you!

Any fix for this yet? I cant join any games even though i have downloaded/installed mods galore etc

i've got 36 packages, 1 is just packages and the rest are packages 1 thru 36 do i delete them all?

I deleted all of mine and created a folder called "packages" . Reloaded the game and installed to that folder and its been fine since then .

you must delete the files named package. files on my friends computer he had 54 files. so i dont know how many there can be at once. but delete them. and then make folder in the rfactor2 folder called Packages. then you should be able to open the game and download away.

Anyone got a fix for the "Package Not Available" Error? Does that mean you don't have the mods installed?

Ok go into the Lancher in the content section, at the bottom there is the directory
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2 ,
make sure its the same as this, mine was different so i changed it now it works .
