[BUG] Game won't start on Windows 10.

I bought the game this morning but it won't start. Windows 10. Does this game require a JRE or anything?

Hi,

Some users have reported having trouble with the game on Windows in general (not just 10). At least on Windows 7 & 8, you need to start the game in Administrator mode (right clicking on the executable and pressing "Run as Administrator" while on an Administrator account).

We don't have support for Windows 10 yet, so there might also be a problem there, although we don't know yet.

If you try running it in Administrator mode and it doesn't work, please let us know again and we'll look into it.

I'm having a similar issue. I can open the game, but I cannot click anything except settings. Everything else is simply nonresponsive. I have tried both mouse and keyboard, and controller. Ftr, I am also running Windows 10.

I'm not sure what happened but it's working fine now. I didn't see it get updated or anything so I have no idea what heppened.

SOLUTION FOR WINDOWS 10! Go to pixel dungeon properties, and then go to "browse local files". You should see an executable jar file. Run that and the game should start normally.

UPDATE: Inside Browse Local Files, run the file named "desktop-1.9.2-steam". 1.9.2 being the most recent PD version at this time.
