Differences between Steam and Android version?
I played the phone version up until they added item degradation and then I moved onto Shattered Pixel Dungeon which adds a ton of new content, removes the stupid item degradation (seriously that was the dumbest thing they ever did), and adds more achievements.

Usually, when a phone game is moved to the PC, a lot more content is available and updates come more frequently (Hero Siege is a perfect example). So, are there any differences between the Steam version and the phone version? I'd hate to spend money on an inferior version of a game I'm already playing for free on my phone.

Theres not really a difference. The GUI is a little bit different, I do like it though. But the steam version is getting the same updates as the mobile version. Plus, in the steam version you have the possibility to turn off the item degradation, but then you dont get any achievements. Sorry for my English, it's not my native tongue.

Your English was perfectly fine and thanks for the information. It's a shame they turn off achievements for item degradation. Guess I'll just stick to the superior Shattered Pixel Dungeon and hope they eventually bring out a Steam release. I'd rather play roguelike that's fun (Rogue legacy and Hero Siege come to mind) rather than one where the devs intentionally gimp the only means of having fun.

I personally like the item degradation for the most part, although I can see why you would dislike it.
By the way, you can use Bluestacks or DuOS to run Android apps on Windows :P

When I'm on my PC, I'm generally playing something better than a phone game.

It's essentially the same game, with a few minor improvements... but I find it a lot more fun on Steam for some reason. Maybe it's the bigger screen and mouse control. It also seems easier, though that's probably just my imagination.

I like it. It's worth the few dollars for a nice casual roguelike you can keep coming back to.

But it's free on your phone and there are better versuons (subjectively speaking) available for free as well.
