It seems dead, likely haven't even fixed the achievements yet :(
There's a fork of this game though, both on GooglePlay and here which seems to be supported: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1769170/Shattered_Pixel_Dungeon/

Disclaimer: i haven't played that version myself on any platform yet and haven't purchased. But the reviews speak for it, it's in my wishlist.

shattered pixel dungeon started as a mod to fix some stuff from PD, but now is a complete stand alone game that updates regularly, pretty cool :D
