Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE)

Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE)

SkyUI problems
I know this isn't the probably the right place to get help with mods but I am sure most people have this and maybe someone can help. I've searched far and wide on google and the mod pages but found nothing.

I am using NMM. I installed it (completely fresh game, zero mods in the NMM due to new PC.)

It keeps telling me there was an exception in the script.

Can anyone help me at all?

Is that all it says? I'm pretty sure there's an skse log somewhere... (maybe not).

In all honestly, I dont know how to tell at all.. the only thing I can get from it in the more details is at the bottom:

"The action that failed was:
Demand
The type of the first permission that failed was:
System.Security.Permissions.Enviroment Permission"

It looks like SKSE doesn't have permission to do something, could be injecting. Try disabling your anti-virus. Any maybe run the SKSE launcher as administrator.

Tried those and set the permissons in properties as well. This is the only mod that appears to do this, other mods I got on NMM installed fine.

When does it give you this error?

When I try to activate it in NMM. Do you think manual download would be better?

Or maybe using silverlock SKSE instead of Steam's?

problem solved: Installed Manually. Sucks I couldn't find a real fix for this for NMM downloads. :/

Is there any advantage to nmm over the integrated mod manager now? I had the same problem with skse yesterday. thanks for posting this...helpful.

Integrated mod manager? You mean the "Data Files" button? Yes. NMM handles loose files that aren't in the esp/bsa files for example some models, textures and sounds. Also a lot of folders directly in the Data Folder. Without NMM you would have to manage hundreds of different files and folders.
