Can we get some love for Ian Hubert for making the launch render? Absolute GOAT

Subsurface editing is still super slow in this version (ever since 2.8 launched). When will it be fixed?
This release has been incredible. Thank you to all the people who work on Blender and the community. A perfect LTS release.

Is there and easy way to get back to 2.82? Some of the plugins I use broke and I have a lot of work to do and no time to wait for them to update. I didn't even notice the update and failed to click the "keep using 2.82" button or whatever it says, and now I can't figure out if there's a way to just roll back to 2.82 without downloading a whole other non-steam copy, re-adding all my plugins, and changing all my settings back to how I want them.
Yes. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Blender and delete everything. Now download 2.82a from Blender's website, and extract it on the folder mentioned.

I already found a work around, thanks. I ended up going to my AppData>Roaming>ect, ect. and copying the 2.82 configs into 2.83. Then I just played with a couple things in the addon's python and got it the important one's updated myself.
