Free roam camrea?

Just wondering if its possible

Hi, press shift+f . This will enter walk mode, use wasd for movement and the mouse for look, just like in an FPS. If you want to move faster then hold down shift while you move etc, press esc to exit walk mode.

Ctrl+Alt+Numpad 0 will set the camera to your current view.

and if you are in camera view, that is to say, an actual (render) camera, you can check the box in the properties area to "lock camera to view". at this point, you can also use shift+f to fly freely (and press enter to exit flying mode and position the camera). just remember to uncheck the "lock camera to view" box or you will mess up your camera position when you try to move the view around.
