Blender in Chromebook through steam

Hi I have blender working on my Chromebook through steam but I can't seem to find any of my files in the mnt directory that u have shared with Linux. Anyone have any ideas on how to locate them otherwise I'll have to continue using the older version I have outside of steam. Thanks in advance.

Just download the standalone version from their website if its only a steam version issue (also how is this thing running on a chromebook)

Steam runs things through a version of proton (a Linux version of windows) on a Chromebook. I also found the answer to my issue if anyone still needs it.
