I have just imported an XPS model into blender, and all the shadows appear to be black/non transparent

I recently just imported and XPS model into blender and most of the stuff that has holes or shadows are just black, i am a new blender user so i dont know how to fix this or what to do
Can anyone help me out?

It's not shadows, it's transparencies. All the transparent stuff is black. Make sure the material correctly uses the alpha channel of the textures.
