How do I fix bake in 4.3?
I did the usual
Made a new uv map, made a image node for each material, made a new material to bake to, made sure the node was selected in each material, set up the uv map, went to bake, set it for diffuse, unchecked direct and indirect and baked.

For some reason it only does half the job. Some materials show and then its like it gets cut off and the rest is just black. It NEVER did this on previous versions.


Is 4.3 just garbage or is something else wrong? So far 4.3 failed to impress and seems more like a downgrade. It cant even bake textures properly

anything above 4.11 is a cringe downgrade

PS maybe u forgot to create new image textures after making fresh image node to bake, or maybe forgo to click "selected to active" button :)

yeah 4.3 sucks ass.

Also I didnt forget. I made the new image node and clicked new.
Andsince when did I need to click a selected to active button? Where is that even at? I dont see it anywhere. I select the mesh before I bake.

It's starting to frustrate me. People keep telling me it works just fine for them but only 4.3 isnt working for me. I tested it on 4.2 and it works just fine.

Why did they ruin blender in 4.3???? I cant even get basic functions to work
