How do you make a simple coffee cup?
I'm new to this program and i want to make a basic coffee cup i found this guys tutorial

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y__uzGKmxt8

and the handle is what im having trouble with when he puts down a path he has a staight like with 5 nurbs. When i do it i have a tiny like with all the nurbs on top of each other. So i have no idea which on is what. then i was able to make the C shape for the cup but when i make it a tube the faces are twisted like a spiral. How do i make a perfect handle?

I would love to have links for tutorials or Blender guides. My goal here is to learn blender to the point where i can make anime based models such as a Erens titan form from AOT.

Handle can be done in many ways actually. The lazy way is using the Torus mesh, cutting it about or less than half and fitting it on the model. The more experience way would be to use cylinders and just extrude from both ends of the cylinders at their vertices and slowly try to wind it into the right shape. Once you become EVEN more esperienced, use Smooth, Subdivide Smooth, or just add a Smooth modifier and apply it when you are ready with the model.

you can do what guy before said
make it a whole new object
but i think more parctical way is to use the knife tool[k]
and with its help extrude a region out of the cup or whatever
than slowly shape it untill it takes a shape of the handle, after useing mergeing[alt+m] to join it up, so you actualy have both entreces of the handle smoothed

If i follow the rest of his tutorial and used a cut torus will it still work? I just want to make a cup to feel special about my self xD ALSO lets say i do make a cup. is there a way for me to chance the entire color of the cup and put a logo/text on it?

That has to do with UV Mapping, not exactly with the solid model. If you want the model to have a texture, I'd recommend doing it with an outside program like MS Paint, GIMP/Photoshop, or if you have experience with Blender, using the UV Editor to make colors and writing. Also, you need to use the UV Wrap/Unwrap tool so you can actually find how the texture should be on this model.
The blender game assets video's on steam are useful if you are new. They don't go in depth about things but you can always go on youtube for more in depth tutorials. Also Riven Phoenix makes really great blender tutorials. I believe he has been updating his blender tutorials. Unfortinately they took down the old ones last year even though they were really awesome. On my other computer I found a good tutorial about curves. ( Its on Youtube) I can post it when I get it.
