Do you want to replace an image texture of an object or the background image?

Do you have way to upload your scene so i could have a look at it? It might be, that you're using a texture with an alpha channel but it's kinda hard to tell from a distance.

An alpha channel describes transparent portions of an image, whereas black usually means invisible and white fully visible. However, only certain image file formats support alpha channels like tif, tga, png or exr, to name a few.

If you'd like, email me your scene, including the texture to info@threedeemedia.ch

I promise, that i won't use any of your stuff (honestly i wouldn't have time for it and am most probably able to do it myself, so nothing to fear from me) ;).

I'd gladly look into it and send you back the scene plus a description about the issue.

Cheers

Urs

Depending if he uses Blender's internal renderer or Cycles, he actually may work without nodes. That's why i'd prefer to have a look at the scene myself.

do you want to see the UV part
Salt_Extractor Jul 25, 2015 @ 12:08am
UVs are unimportant for this topic
you asked how to replace one texture with another
and the way to do it is just to go into node editor, and select a diffrent one
