i try everything i can think off. disabling x, y and z axis also disabling merge, clipping vertext group. I even disable the mirror modifier but i only get half of the object when i combine them.

first picture u got mirror of X and Y second picture only on X so u miss the Y part.
tbh when combining objects u better off to do it without the mirror modifier and add a new mirror modifier afhter Joining the parts.
Also try to have the origin poin on same place usually around the pelvis wich help with the rigging of the char. and look up some tutorials about hardsurface modeling Masterxeon is recommended.

Goodluck :D

the results are still the same even if i check and uncheck the axis or have both of them the same. even if i get rid of the mirror modifier and combine the two object, and added the mirror modifier after that, it still gives the same results. one of the object is half missing

i already solve this issued the other day. the reason why is messing up when i merge two mirror objects together is that i did not click "apply" on the mirror modifier tab. it seems that i need to do it for every single objects that has a mirror modifier.
