you have been visiting the preferences > System and selected CUDA / OptiX / HIP / oneAPI? And checked one of the two Boxes under the selectables?
(depending on your System settings which would be "better" in most cases)
(Blender 4.2 Update sucks sadly)
Lmao of course, I ain't a newbie anymore on Blender.
BUt idk why, even by checking those with the GPU, blender just RESUFES using my rtx! Idk why!
PS had not this, but similar bug long time ago
Fixed by leaving only CPU render in system preferences, save setting and relaunch blender, then turn off CPU and click only GPU then save and relaunch again, got fixed
Ah it's was working fine in the 4.1. Jesus, that update is strange
I'll try
And official blender™ advice was "Update your drivers, dummy", implying this ever helps.
