Adding/Editing Makeup on Imported Daz3D Model
Hi! I am very new to Blender, so I don't know the lingo very well. I've been using Daz3D and have not worked with customizing models' makeup, skin tones, etc. I decided I wanted to use Blender because of the versatility of the program. I created a model in Daz3D and want to use her for my project. However, I would like to add makeup, change her eyebrow color, adjust her skin tone, and pose her.

I have found several tutorials on how to accomplish these things but they seem to be only if you started with a model in Blender. I did read to use Blender 3.6 because of bugs in the newest version.

Any relevant advice on how to do these things or where I can find tutorials would be greatly appreciated.

The specific tool you want is called "Diffeomorphic". This will export a daz model into blender while keeping it's materials all intact and applying a perfectly lined up pre-made rig. Daz3d has a free addon called "Daz to Blender bridge" but the Diffeomorphic plugin is pretty much objectively better in every way.

However as for changing the individual aspects of a characters skin, you will either have to become well versed in texture painting manually, or go (absolutely) insane (like me) and build a massive procedural node system from scratch that works with the UV maps that come with the export. And the end result is most likely that you will lose the "photorealistic" look that Daz3D models all have, and you might have to do extra work to make it look better as a more "stylized" form.
