1- Is a mesh with some shadow catcher in front of the camera?
2- Are the camera and objects that you want to render in the same scene?
3- Have the objects the correct material setup "visible on render" etc?
4- Have you illumination in the scene (lamps) (planes)?
5- If you have "composition" enable, then you have the proper node setup or linked?
6- The objects in the scene are visible? >Object Properties>Visibility>Camera
7- Is the scene from older blender build in a new one?
8- The materials on the objects are compatible with cycles or maybe are build on internal?
This are the common problems, there is some more but are very rare, if problem persist i can help with more info.
I've tried and checked everything, the version is right, I have lightning, i dont use nodes, ive checked the camera and all. But still i cant get the image to render.
Open new project in blender, make some prefabs like cubes, apply some simple materials, setup a camera, lights and try to render. If render is good then the base problem its on your working blend file. Then you can try:
Create new blend file, append a figure of your main blend file that have the problem, setup a camera and lights, then try to render. If not work, then the problem its on the material of your main blend file, if work, then something its bad on the main blend file. If its the second case, then you can copy the full scene and paste it on new blend file. Tell me if it works, if not, then we can try some things.
In another new project cycles works fine I tried to copy the whole scene but it end up breking it all in the to the new scene, im right now asking the creator if the model is suitable fro cycles render and waiting for an answer
I see, well no matter what kind of model is, if you can import it in to blender, and you can see the mesh in preview, then you should be able to render it, other question are strand lines, blender dont render it if are only 1 edge lines. A capture of the model can be helpfull also a capture of the scene.

This is the model that i use and im trying to make a scene like in the first image just changing position and background, maybe you can try and find a solution downloading the model and rendering it to see whats wrong.
EDIT: HI again C, i download the file and test it, it render well, and i havent find problems with it, im using verion 3.01 and 3.01 SSRT, work well in both. That .Blend file require at least Blender 3.0 to work properly as autor say on the file specs. Maybe you have any problem with your Blender version, or maybe you are using a pluggin that can conflict with that .blend? Also keep in mind that this file has not very complex materials but it have a memory peak of 2.3/2.5gb if it sceeds your rig specs can make CUDA error so the screen can appear black. You can try a clean Blender Version 3.0+, but as i say, the .blend file is correct and dont have problems :)
Im gonna try it in blender 3.01 to see if its that the problem, I normaly use 3.5.
EDIT: I download a older version of it it didnt work, im now checking if it is a plugin.
After trying, and disabling the plugins still i get nothing, I even try unistalling and installing the program again, but still i have the same result only the blank png background
Hi again C, hmm then looks like you have a problem with your pc. Can you post the specs and what OS are you using?
And by the way, if the png blank image you telling me is the square checker texture, can be possible that the image need time to render. Depend of PC specs can took about 10 secs to 1 minute to build the scene before start render. With my rig that image took about 15 seconds to build for start rendering. You can see the next:
1- Have you tried to change between CPU and GPU?
2- Are you using (Experimental or OSL rendering method?
3- When you start rendering you see the (Render 0%) mesage on the bottom of the screen? 4- Have you seen the Console info to see if Blender tell you something?
My specs are:
-Amd FX?(tm)-8350 Eight core processor
-16 memory ram
-Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6gb
I use windows 10
1- I tried changing between them still the same
2- I tried both
3- It doesnt shows anything only render result on top
4- i cant open the console
Well let's recap:
You have good specs.
You have a verified .blend file.
You have a proper blender version.
You have tried all the above, and nothing works.
The last thing i can tell you is about Cuda Kernels. There is a Touring Cuda Kernel 7.5 for Blender to work properly in RTX cards, but you have a GTX that use Pascal architecture. So i dont know if there is any problem related with that .blend file plus your 3Dcard, so im lost.
About the console, you can open it in blender:
>Window>Toggle System Console
When the console open, push render and read what it says in the info, maybe you can see some errors. If you see someting inusual post it here.
EDIT: I just realize that tile size of the .blend its at 2048, try to change it to 128 or 256 and try the render. Also, when you start a render you need to see a % of the render on bottom centered on the screen.
Does it show anything in Rendered Viewport during cycles?
