why blender crashes me after clicking viewport shading

Hi, I have a problem, every time I click Viewport Shading crashes my blender, without any notification just sends me to steam. I have already uninstalled applications I do not know what to do and please help.!!!!!!!!

Looks like a graphics driver issue to me or you have rather old (10+ years) GPU. What graphics card do you have and what is the driver?

I had an issue like this back then with Blender 2.81 or 2.82 with an old nVidia GTX260 from year 2009 or so, i.e. very old GPU.

Thanks, that's probably the point, I can't do anything about it but thank you for reassuring me of my suspicions.

I had to go to an older save file in order for it to work, something about the settings I belive

If the settings are at fault, try unchecking Preferences/Save & Load/Blend Files/Load UI before you load the file.

I tried that and It didnt work, luckly I could just append the material I was working on
