is there an official book i can use to learn?
I use youtube for tutorials but i want a method that doesn't need wifi. Is there a book that covers all the blender basics? or an official manual?

Books are generally not the greatest idea, I bought a Blender book once, it was outdated though. I suspect print can't keep up very well with how fast things can change. Maybe if it's an online book or something that doesn't have to go through publishers and editors or whatever.

There is an official manual, you can find it on Blender.org I would assume.

https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/latest/

They have HTML or e-book format links for download right at the top of the page there.

Also https://cgcookie.com/ should have some free videos available for download and if you pay for a subscription they'd offer even more videos to download. Might be worth checking out, I bought some stuff from them a while ago and I didn't regret it.

Blender for Dummies (latest version) is worth a stab. The manual is a good reference, but it skimps on how to actually use a lot of the tools, while the aforementioned book is a more conversational style.

Everybody is a dummy in everything, most just don't know enough to realize it yet.

There are also specific books, like Blender 3D Incredible Models, and Blender 3D: Architecture, Buildings, and Scenery, and it explains a little bit about Blender, but not really the basics, I think You Tube videos are good for that part, or give a go, and don't save! Have fun :)

those sound interesting, do you know any books that teach stuff like topology or techniques that can be used in blender? I want to understand better how to make stuff and navigate through blender better
