Annoying Blue Lines Issue
I have spent last two hours googling how to turn these off.
They are simply blue lines appearing on the edges of every single object of mine.

I have not found a successful way to turn it off, every single thread suggests to "Clear sharp" and all that bs. But I have done everything and none of it worked.
It doesn't apply only to imported objects or whatever.
At the start I have a cube and IT DOESNT have the blue edges

But when I add a Mesh (Whatever object)...
The second it gets in the viewmodel everything simply has blue lines.

Any ideas on how to turn that thing off?
Restarting blender does not work, clearing stuff doesn't work neither.

If all else fails. reset your Blender to factory settings. (File -> Defaults -> Load Factory settings), it sure looks like a theme thing.

Do you have a screenshot? You set your wirecolor to blue maybe?

No idea, I was not doing anything but follow a tutorial on how to make a desk lamp.
Then after a while I pressed something that did it. I cannot undo it and none of the suggested "fix methods" work at all, the lines are simply there no matter what the object is, sharp or smooth.

NOTE: IT HAPPENS EXCLUSIVELY IN EDIT MODE

Hmm looks like the Wireframe Overlay, try turning it off.

I got a hunch, that these are simply the wires and your theme (supposed to look like Maya I think) simply has blue wires. You wont get these in material or rendered view, but I wouldnt know how to turn them off in edit mode in Solid Shading.

No, but I did "Clear" them, like people told me to.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
