Thanks - for some reason that node isnt showing up on the search, didnt think of going into the menues to find it.

That node is gone and searching for mixrgb, mix, rgb, color or even mix color - none of them bring up the new 'mix color' node (Im talking about latest blender update version).

No you wouldn't. Well, maybe you would, but you surely wouldn't find it that way.

Side note: Why are new Blender versions always feeling laggy? Everything seems to take juuuust a little too long when you click on it for the first time. Maybe I'll wait for 3.4.1 before upgrading.

I would though I am assuming it is in geometry nodes or shader nodes. Shift+A -> Search -> MixRGB for both node panes is how I get to mixrgb.

Are you always stuck on the grey screen on startup?

Please keep up, we are talking about the new version and you can't find it by searching because mixrgb doesn't exist anymore and because the new name doesn't show up in the search yet.

Hm, no, it's just a bit unresponsive sometimes.

I kinda had the same issue, I am always stuck on the grey screen for like 1-2 minutes and everything loaded, although the application is pretty laggy, like 20-30fps when I move my viewport. Hopefully it gets fixed-

No, it's really only very slightly unresponsive for me (think blink of an eye wait time when switching to the Shading tab).
Do you have an AMD card? Maybe it's a driver issue once again.

Not really, mine is an Nvidia. I pretty much have all my drivers updated, the only solution that I got Blender to work properly is by deleting the opengl.dll file off of my Blender files

I'd suggest to simply stay with 3.3 for the time being unless there is a new feature in 3.4 that you really really need.
Bevo Dec 7, 2022 @ 11:31am
I do stick with 3.2 since I don't really have any issues with it but yeah I get your point.
