I think you hold shift to select multiple things. It's one of those things my fingers would remember in the program but I can't remember for sure outside of it lol. Should be easy to find this on google though.

I'm not sure if I understand what you are asking. It's control+j to join or merge two objects into one. And it is hold shift and select things to select multiple objects at once.

I need to lock the bones of the pistol to the bones of an arm, like grabbing it. pretty much how TF2 adds hats they lock the hat bones on the character bones so they move with it.

Okay you'll have to look up weight painting or rigging tutorials on youtube or the internet. That's not easy at all to go through in a forum post and it would be much better to go find some information about that online.

Wait how is one of the simpelest things in SFM super hard in Blender you can add me on steam if you want. because im pretty sure you dont understand exactly what i mean. I have 2 models i just want to know how to select a specific bone from both models at the same time so i can CTRL+P to lock them

I don't use SFM so the terms and keys you are referring to don't mean anything to me. I think you what you are trying to do though is rig your mesh to the bone so the bone moves it. In 3d modelling this is called rigging, and blender uses a term/process called weight painting. Weight painting might not be blender specific, but this I'm not sure about. So if you look for blender related tutorials on rigging and/or weight painting that should give you an idea of what you need to do.

It shouldn't be that hard in your case, you probably just assign 100% weight for all vertices on the gun to the bone. It's probably harder in Blender because blender can do so much more than SFM. The extra freedom and power you get with Blender means the tools also have to be more complex to allow you the extra freedom/power.

I am using this tutorial http://gamebanana.com/tuts/11356
quoted from the tutorial the part im stuck at

"Open Blender. I'm assuming you already have .SMD tools installed.
Import c_engineer_arms.dmx.smd. After that, import fj_draw.smd from the Engineer folder you copied into the 'Animations in the Works' folder. Make sure "Extend any existing model" is checked.
In the Dopesheet, delete all of the keyframes but the last one.
Alright, my way of doing this is incredibly unprofessional. I just don't know another way of doing it. If someone can provide a better way, that would be great. (...I'm actually really relying on this..)
Import c_shotgun.mdl. Make sure "Extend any existing model" is NOT checked. Locate the 'weapon_bone' bone in both Engineer's arms and the Shotgun. Pose the Shotgun's weapon bone to be in the same exact spot as Engineer's weapon bone.
Now, rotate the weapon bone so it looks natural in the Engineer's hand, like it does in-game. Once everything is in place, select both of the weapon bones, the Shotgun's first. Press CTRL+P, and select "Bone Relative". Now, when you move Engineer's hand and such, the shotgun moves with it.
Just remember, the other weapon bones don't move along either. You have to compile it and look at it in-game to see it, which sucks."

Try starting with these so you are at least comfortable with the basics of navigating in Blender: https://cgcookie.com/course/blender-basics/

Then look up rigging/weight painting or just try following through those steps you posted again.

Has the base question been answered yet with the part where i need to select a bone from 2 seperate models at the same time?

Ctrl+j to join them to one object, hold shift to select multiple objects.

You really need to learn the basics of using and navigating the Blender UI by the sounds of it. Go here, its free: https://cgcookie.com/course/blender-basics/
