Anyone get sculpting lag using wacom pen?

For some reason when I sculpt with my tablet pen, blender will occasionally start to lag. Not the strokes, just the view. When I rotate it for instance, there's no transition, it just snaps.

This ends if I tab out of it and back.

It does not appear to happen when I am sculpting with the mouse and is neither related to the complexity of the sculpt or how much I have sculpted recently, it could be one pen stroke or I could be at it for minutes.

Is there some kind of known issue with this?

Have you tried turning off Windows Ink?

Can it be turned off? I tried to follow some steps to disable it once but they did not apparently work. Otherwise I just have to disable it in individual programs.
