Might be the last Blender update, might be the last windows update. I don't know.
I've rendered for hundreds of hours and never had my PC fall asleep while blender is running until now. Either way, I'm turning off my PC's auto sleep function for now.
That stop function is most probably that blender users requested pausing/ resuming rendering which will indeed become a feature of Cycles X, however this should not put the PC to sleep. It is just a pause/ resume button for the render.
