Even if it is not in the TOS, it would only constitute as a joke (a bad one, but a joke nonetheless). He did not belittle homosexuals or their life's choices in any way; instead his statement was largely objective. The only subjective part of the response was "Its crazy read the tos", suggesting he is in fact not a homophobe.

Just out of curiosity I checked the Blender website for the answer to your questions and it states that Blender is released under the General Public License, which grants people a number of freedoms. The first among these is:

"You are free to use Blender, for any purpose"

So it seems Blender does not mind you making furry characters perform sexual acts, regardless of the their gender.
