(Blender 2.93) Hair not showing in Cycles

Im trying to render some hair using cycles and for some reason they dont show up, even though on eevee it works just fine

Make sure that 'Hair' is checked in the Filter options of the Layer Properties panel.

If it still doesn't show up, check the 'Render as' settings in the Particle system.

My 'Render as' option is set to path and hair is checked in the layer properties. Still doesnt show up on the viewport and render.

I discovered what was wrong. My the diameter scale on the particle settings was set to 0.00 for whatever reason. Thanks for the help man!
