After that I try to open that and there still being the same problem. I figured out that before starting, it opens a console that says something about a Failure (I can't read it because the console closes so fast)
found bundled python: C:\ Program Files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Blender\2.79\python

Hopefully when the solution is found it gets posted in one of the 4 threads.
second, for the Steam version of Blender, DO NOT launch from a shortcut, launch from the steam client software library. Desktop short cuts don't do well with programs installed by Steam.
If this is the Downloaded from Blender.org version, launch from the Blender folder by double clicking the Blender.exe file, not a shortcut.
