How can I "convert" shape keys to rigged bones?
I have a model with some shape keys, And I really want to put it in a certain program, But this program only works with facial rigging. So I really want to put it there, But I don't know how to rig a face (I actually can only rig in MMD, and my rigging is very crappy) and I'd really like to use this model in that program. Is there any addon or something like that which I can use for making facial bones out of the shape keys?

Sorry if I said anything wrong, I'm not experienced with blender. I'm a MMD user who uses blender usually for porting models.

You can go from posed bones to shapekeys, but I don't think you can go from Shapekeys to poses. The reason you can go from pose to shapekey is that the bone moves the meh and Blender calculates the msh movement from a basis position. However if you move mesh with a shapekey, there's no corresponding calculation available for the vertices moved to a pose bone movement.

I see. Thanks anyway. I guess I'll have to learn how to rig a face or maybe find someone to help me.

Theoretically, you could write a script that converts the shape key verices "values" (how far do each vertices move, for ex.) into vertex group weight values, but I dunno if it looks good.

I see. Honestly, All I know about coding is a bit of C#. But I'll see if anyone can help me on Blenderswap :steamhappy:

I've heard this tutorial is very good. But maybe I think I'm trying to mess around with something really complicated. I might be too newbie in Blender for doing such thing. maybe I should first go learn how to model something actually decent without using other people's parts then I should go to this kind of thing. Thanks for the help anyway!
