the fingers are connected to the hand bone, you could remove it but would need to rotate the basebone of the fingers from the wrist. IK would also be affected (if used). Why?

sfm has a 'limit' of 128 bones but can accept more. just keep the basic body parts and then go from there?

As you're looking to reduce the armature, *SAVE* then delete the palm bones, parent the fingers to the forearm bone, see if you can use it that way.

At minimum, you should have these bones for a reasonable model:

30 fingers (can be reduced to 2, depending on view distance/use etc)
2 hand/palm
4 arm
2 shoulder
3 body/spine
1 pelvis
2 head/jaw
1 neck
4 legs
4 feet
1 root

54 total - leaves a lot for 'other things'.

rigify has a gazillion bones for different reasons, find the above and delete the rest - and relationships. More than likely you would have to check parenting etc on the remaining bones and fix any issues.

Yeah I kept the ones Ill need. I removed like the ear bones, nose and etc. Kept the mouth and eyes. I dont really need cheek bones, not for sfm Ive never seen people use cheek bones. But the spine is a bit complicated but I think itll work regardless I dont know, it's shape and position concerns me but if I make too high it'll just go through the neck bone. I dont know what to do with it
