Collision vs Rigid Body
Could someone explain to me the difference(s) between these two types of physics and when to use each one?

They seem really similar to each other and I'm trying to learn when to use each one. Thank you!

As far as i know rigid bodies are objects which move in a similation, collision objects are objects which rigid body object interact with.

Got it. Thank you very much!
I think with collision objects you get additional options to tweak their behavior during a simulation, stuff like the collision box shape and such. This can be useful to streamline simulations. It might also be important in cases where you got particles that are supposed to interact with each other, like dissolve upon collision.

Rigid bodies is like collision, but with a lot more features.
collision doesn't do much while rigid body can physics and interact with other rigid body when collision is really for like soft body and cloth physics.

This is such an awesome question, I've wondered the exact same thing for a long time.
