Blender

Yo how do I take a screenshot in blender
So I'm a beginner to blender and I'm still trying to figure things out via tutorials. So I want to show off the projects I've been doing to showcase how well I'm doing and also post future projects as well. I know this is a stupid question, but does anyone know how to take a screenshot in Blender? Or if it's not possible, does anyone know how to share images on steam?

Render is F12
Unless you want the entire Blender interface and editor shading, then just use whatever screen-capture/snipping tool comes with your operating system.

I believe it's Alt+F12.. Yes Alt+F12 But because Blender doesn't use the Steam Overlay, you won't be able to upload it to the Blender Screenshot area. You have to upload it to your or the Community Artwork page manually.

It didn't work

Is there a way to share images on steam? I still haven't used either of these programs enough to figure out how (blender specifically)

You can go to your Steam Profile and visit your Artworks page and upload the screenshot as a new image near the top. Or, if it's just some disposable image and not something you want to showcase, you could just upload to imgur and paste a link on Steam instead (being faster and less overhead).

If you're in Steam Chat, you can actually just drag-and-drop an image to the chat window to upload said image to a friend.

you can ctrl alt prt sc to take a windows screen shot and then just paste it somewhere, that's usually what I do, just make sure your mouse is on the page you wanna screen cap

to render something out you need a camera object (and decent lighting) if you have that just aim your viewport at the subject, hit [Ctrl Alt num0] to jump the camera to your perspective, and hit N to fine tune the position and hit F12 when your ready to render. if you just want to share a quick progress screen shot though OS snipping tools or Gyazo are your friend

I already know how to render, but I'm trying to figure out how to take my renders and share them through steam
