Is 8gb or RAM enough for blender?
I've noticed some professionals have like 20-40 gb, I wonder if there's a reason for that? my GPU 1060 6gb, and 8gb ram, i7 3770. I wonder if I need more ram but for now I don't really have any problems with this rig

more Ram can help with blender but i used to have 2gb and could do everything i wanted, exept baking would take long.

Well it all depends on what you're making. It's the same logic to gaming.

32 or better 64 gb

8GB is just enough for the average use of Blender, you don't really need any more unless you plan to do high-end baking and such.
