uv mapping overlapping HELP
ok i uv mapped object's that where seperate objects the did the ctrl j thing to conjoin them now the uv maps are over lapping how do i fix this or am i f'ed

Either do a new unwrap, or select the faces that are overlapping in 3d view and move em somewhere else in the UV window.

that or separate the meshes again and alter where the uv is so that when you join them again it's not overlapping

i already weight painted the bones i have but i already restarted my project with currected UV mapping, the model is really complex and selecting all those verts would be insane.
