or change to Material, or render view. If you do this, make sure your scene is properly lit.
I've only just started using cycles, so I too am still jumping through hoops, but hopefully we get you sorted out.

In that picture the top one is my scene with the viewer set to Rendered. The colour of the model comes through as Blue as per the Simple BSFD shader I set up. It also displays as blue if I change the viewer mode to Material. However, If I change to Texture or Solid the the model displays the colour I have set up as Viewer colour in the Materials Settings box. My thoughts are that your's is set to default (clay model) Like the robot is.
Since it does show up in the render I assume you did UV unwrap your model?
And, again, please describe your node setup for the material. Or, better yet, post a screenshot. You could also upload your .blend file somewhere for us to take a look at if you want to. It's hard to troubleshoot this with the limited amount of info you have given so far.

This is why we're asking you to give us screenshots of your project. We really can't help without some idea of where you're at in the project and what it looks like.
@MeshCrafter please give us some links to screenshots of your project or better still a link to your .blend file.
As others have said here it will be very difficult to know what is wrong without more information, I've seen threads go on for several pages due to a lack of relevant information which is a waste of everyone's time including yours...
Thanks! :)
